1. Create a file that contains the following Windows 2000 boot disk: Ntldr; Ntdetect.com; Boot.ini; Ntbootdd.sys.

2. Then Edit Boot.ini to point to the correct hard disk controller and where Windows is installed in the right volumes.

3. Insert the boot disk to the computer's disk drive, and then restart the computer.

4. Copy Ntldr, Ntdetect.com, Boot.ini from the boot disk to the local hard disk partition system.
